A New Home for our Rescue Dogs in Dragnäs

23 dogs are living with us in Dragnäs. All of them have lost their homes through different reasons.
Many come from difficult circumstances, some have health restrictions, and most were "unplanned". But we couldn't be more happier having them!

Some dogs came to us seriously injured, such as Julien, Cheyenne and Alea (Julien caused veterinary costs of about €3000) and had an uncertain future. In addition, there were also puppies that were born unplanned with us. We spent a lot of time with wound care and spent many nights with the fearful dogs to calm them down. They are all save and loved now and have their forever homes with us.

By sponsoring one of our Rescue Dogs, you'll be providing essential support for their care and rehabilitation.Your sponsorship will cover the cost of food, veterinary care, and training for your chosen dog. You'll also receive regular updates on their progress and be invited to visit them at our kennel.

The amount of financial support you provide is entirely up to you.

If you're interested in sponsoring one of our Huskies, please contact us and read more below about the dogs.

Mailo

Hello, my name is Mailo, and I am a 9-year-old Husky Malamut mix. Last summer, I moved into my new home after spending nine years in a small kennel. My previous owner believed I couldn't pull a sled, thinking I was lazy and too slow. While I may not be as speedy as my Alaskan Husky friends, he couldn't have been more mistaken about me. When I finally got the chance to try canicross for the first time, I amazed everyone with my ability to lead, my enthusiasm, and my motivation. It was the first time in my life that I had so much fun! Now, I’m trusted to take the kids for rides on the small sled, and I lead the snowshoeing group like a pro. My life has changed drastically for the better, and perhaps you would consider supporting me and my new family through a sponsorship. You can choose the amount and even the duration of your support. By sponsoring me, you’ll also help my family rescue more dogs in need and assist others like me.
